Fleet’s library-based projects include workshops highlighting technologies for independent living and information literacy, from consumer technologies to nonvisual techniques for coding and making with Arduino; and the Dimensions project (awarded NYPL’s 2016 Innovation Grant), which equips patrons with training and tools for creating tactile maps, diagrams, graphics and models. Fleet was recognized as a 2017 Library Journal Mover and Shaker and is a fellow at Data and Society Research Institute.
