DiCon or Digital Inclusion Conference is organized by the City of New York, our sponsors and community partners. Our mission is to educate digital professionals on accessibility and inclusion.

Conference Theme

This years conference theme is “Digital Accessibility: Where to Begin?” We recognize that it could be difficult for folks to get started in making their websites and other digital materials accessible to the disability community. That’s why we are organizing this one-day workshop for beginners to get started with digital accessibility.

Who is this event for?

This event will benefit all types of digital professionals including:

  • Content creators
  • Marketing and Communications professionals
  • Social media managers
  • Film makers and video editors

The event is geared towards the needs of small businesses, cultural institutions, artists and anyone else who is interested in learning the basics of digital accessibility. We understand that you are working with a small budget and we will share cost effective ways to incorporate accessibility into your existing practices.

Accessibility is a shared responsibility. If we all do our part, we can insure that when people with disabilities visit your website, they will have the same great experience as non-disabled people. There is at least one thing you can learn at this event that will make your products better for everyone!
